We were all at breakfast by 7:15am. Then back to our rooms to get ready, tie ties and go over some last minute details and advice for a successful day. Everyone looked professional and were ready to go by 8:10 am. We are very proud of our team!

Karen and I were not able to enter the exhibit hall today. So we snuck upstairs and took a few photos through a window in a door. We could only see a small area. but we are able to catch a few of our team. In the exhibit hall their are 103 regions with 409 projects by 465 finalists from across Canada.

While the Finalists were sharing their projects with judges, Karen and I attended the Delegates Conference. The UV Team organized many engaging and informative speakers.

At 12 pm, we met the team at the dinning hall. They shared wonderful feedback on their morning experiences with the Challenge and Excellence Awards judges.

After lunch, students returned to their rooms to freshen up and a few of them headed to the UNB Bookstore to purchase a hoodie. This afternoon's judging of the Special Awards lasted until 5:30 pm. Students were greeted wth a well-deserved walkway of cheers and clapping to acknowledge their full day of judging!

Team South Fraser came back to their rooms to freshen up and change into casual clothes before being bused downtown to the Freddy Festival at the W.W. Boyce Farmers' Market for games, entertainment, activities and food truck vendor dinning.

The team decided to take the Heritage Haunted Walking Tour. The Haunted Hike features spine-tingling tales and rib-tickling gags. Costumed guides take you on a lantern-lit journey through Fredericton along the way meeting the ghosts of historic figures from Fredericton's past.

The Jail to the right was built in 1842. On our tour we heard the story of the last double hanging in Canada and the ghosts who still haunt there.

Smyth House built in 1787 is the oldest house in Fredericton.

New Brunswick Legislature

At 9pm, we took the bus back to campus to settle in for the night. A night of rest for sore feet and a tired team. Tomorrow is tour day!

Love it. They all look so handsome in their suit. Thank you Karen and Meghan for keeping us posted of what’s happening there. Appreciate it so much.
